Breathwork Contraindications & Safety Notice

Please read before joining a session.

While conscious breathwork is a powerful and transformative tool, it may not be suitable for everyone. Participation in breathwork sessions is voluntary, and by booking, you confirm that you have read and understood the following:

Contraindications - Do Not Participate If You Are:

  • Pregnant (at any stage)

  • Diagnosed with epilepsy or a seizure disorder

  • Currently experiencing severe psychiatric conditions (e.g., schizophrenia, psychosis, dissociative disorders)

  • At high risk of cardiovascular issues, including:

    • Recent heart attack or stroke

    • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

    • Severe asthma

  • Recovering from major surgery without medical clearance

  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol

⚠️ Use Caution or Seek Medical Advice If You Have:

  • PTSD, trauma history, or anxiety disorders (this work may bring up emotional material)

  • Glaucoma or retinal detachment

  • A pacemaker or other serious medical condition

If unsure, please consult your doctor or mental health professional before attending. Breathwork can evoke intense emotional and physical responses - you are responsible for your own participation and self-care during and after the session.
